The scanner is a fairly straightforward wall panel. The only complicated part is that I made the whole thing hinge like the wall panels so that I can get behind it. I haven’t yet added scanner doors that would open and close vertically.   

I use a projector with a ceiling mount which hangs from the ceiling in front of it, as there isn’t room behind it for a large enough big-screen TV. The projector is connected to a PC behind the scanner, so I am able to display computer graphics or video onto the scanner screen. I haven’t yet finished the software which drives the computer graphics for the display.
